It's already almost the end of January (which I can hardely believe) and I haven't done anything talking about my most anticipated books of 2016, so I thought That's what I would do today! There are so many new books coming out this year, so it was hard to choose just 5 books, so I am going over my top 7 releases in stead of 5. There are still so many more books that I am excited for, but if I were to mention them all, we would be here all day! I don't have any specific order for any of the books, except for the fist one, which is my most anticipated release! I linked the title of each book to their Goodreads page in case you are looking for their summary. :)

1. Throne of Glass #5 by Sarah J Maas (The title is yet to be released, but I will update when it is)
2. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare (The DArk Artifices #1)
3. A Torch Against the Night by Sabba Tahir (An Ember in the Ashes #2)
4. The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater (The Raven Cycle #4)
5. The Midnight Star by Marie Lu (The Young Elites #3)
6. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas (A Court of Thorns and Roses #4)
7. A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab (A Darker Shade of Magic #2)

I hope you guys enjoyed this quick little post! What are some of the books you are looking forward to the most in 2016? Let me know in the comments!

I know Passenger just came out today, but can I have Wayfarer already? Because wow. I am already a big fan of Alex's other books The Darkest Minds Trilogy, so when I heard about Passenger, I was really excited to read it, and I was not let down.

I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of Passenger back in November, and started reading it immediately. It was completely different from The Darkest Minds, which I enjoyed a different story style from her. I also enjoyed reading from Etta's point of view. I felt like I could relate to her in many different ways, especially when it came to her playing the violin. I personally play the violin, and I loved the way Alex brought the feeling to page. The way she describes it, made me feel just like I do when I'm playing. I feel like Etta's character was well developed, and I loved her personality. I love the way Alex creates her characters, they always feel very developed, and you can tell the time she put in created them. I enjoyed Nicholas's character as well, but not as much as Etta's. He had a strong personality, but I just couldn't connect with him quite as much.

Alex's writing felt completely different than it did in The Darkest Minds Trilogy, in such a beautiful way. The story flowed at a nice and steady pace, and didn't make me feel bored at any time. The action scenes were written very well, and it felt like I was right there watching what was happening, and I love that feeling. They kept me on the edge of my seat. The chemistry between Etta and Nicholas felt like it was at a nice pace, but there were a few moments it felt a bit rushed. Passenger did end with a strong cliffhanger, which is why I'm extremely excited for Wayfarer to come out!

Over all, I am giving Passenger 4.5 out of 5 stars! I extremely enjoyed, and I would love to hear you guys' thought! Let me know in the comments! Also can we take a second to admire the book cover? Because it is gorgeous!

The Rose Society is most likely the darkest book I have ever read. It picks up, not to long after The Young Elites ended, and had a very steady pace through most of the novel. I never felt like it was dragging at one point. After finishing this book, I have no doubt that Adelina has to be on of my favorite pov's to read from. Throughout the novel, her mind grows much darker than I thought it would go, and I'm honestly glad it did. It really helped to build up her character.

I love the way Marie introduced her new characters, and how they added to the plot. Those characters also helped build up the world much more in this novel than what was introduce in the first book. We got to see another kingdom that is playing major role in the series, and learn more about them and their ruler. We also got to learn more about some of the characters introduced in the first book. It really helped to make the plot thicker.

The action and fight scenes were so well developed, there was never a dull moment, and they never felt once that they were dragging on a bit to long. I personally love the way Marie describes her fight scenes, because I can picture it so well as if I was actually there watching the fight in person. I am super excited to see how the fights are going to go down in the 3rd book.

The Rose Society had a very well put together plot, and thankfully did not have a cliffhanger as much as the first book. Over all I Would give The Rose Society 4.5 out of 5 stars. I can't wait to see where the next book goes, and I do I have a few theories in mind. At the point the book is at now, I believe it will only get darker. If you have read The Rose Society comment done below that you thought!
